Further Notes about Obama/Clinton and Michelle Obama

I just saw another clip of the Obama/Clinton press conference, and there were a couple new things about it. First, was both Obama and Clinton were looking for the keys to the room, so there were far fewer reporters there when it started.

Was that intentional? Would not White House staff be the ones to assure that room was ready and things in order for a press conference well before the time? I think it was an excuse to help reduce the number of reporters attending the event

The other thing was a joking remark made by Bill Clinton. When Barack said he was keeping the first lady waiting, Clinton chimed in with "I don't want to make her mad, please go."

I am wondering if there is not a tell-tale sign there that Bill Clinton knows something about Michelle’s anger first-hand. It seemed a bit of a funny remark for Clinton to make about the first lady, even jokingly.

It comes at a bad time, considering how some are saying Obama is a wimp for striking a deal with Republicans on the Bush tax cuts.

Maybe he is more of a wimp than we think if Bill Clinton has first-hand knowledge of Michelle’s anger, do you think?

The Suicide of Mark Madoff

Perhaps I am just getting far to cynical about things in Washington, but the suicide of Mark Madoff suddenly struck me as a bit odd, as well.

* First off, he hung himself by a dog leash? It would have had to have been a pretty strong dog leash. I wonder what kind of dog he had.

* His little boy was asleep in the next room. I did not hear how old his sone was, but would a suicidal person just leave his child alone like that, either not attended to by someone if it were still a baby, or for the boy to get up and find his father hanging there if he were older?

* Also, given Mark’s email to his wife about someone checking up on his son, I wonder if Mark might not have given his son some sort of sleeping pills to keep his son asleep while Mark took his own life?

* I saw a picture of Bernie’s two sons, and both of them seemed like they would be nice boys. The Huffington Post had said in their article that “Mark was an innocent victim of his father's monstrous crime who succumbed to two years of unrelenting pressure from false accusations and innuendo.”

I wonder who was applying the pressure, and why, and that made this cynical writer suddenly wonder, given all the things that have taken place on Wall St., if the Obama administration might not be keeping things quiet with this, as well. Interesting that the article also said that law enforcement officials spoke “on condition of anonymity because they weren't authorized to speak publicly about the death”. Okay. Whose authorization was it?

I have seen a pattern with Obama that facts about certain situation do not come out as freely, as I pointed out in my last post concerning Obama’s being elbowed in basketball. Only after having to succumb to providing more information, like the New York fly-over, does Obama come out and say more, but he does so reluctantly. When he does, his remarks end up sounding hollow and unbelievable to me, and any evidence he gives then becomes suspect to me.

So, I wonder if there is a cover-up with the Bernie Madoff scheme…

The Obamas and the Elections

Obama and Clinton

I saw a clip of a press conference with Obama and Clinton, where Bill Clinton was throwing his support on Obama’s decision with going with a 2-year extension of the Bush tax cuts. The debate about the deal with Republicans have been raging as to whether it was a good deal or not, if Republicans could have done better, if Obama was caving in, etc. In general, I feel two things:

1) I do not trust anything Obama does, and tend to believe he gets what he wants almost each and every time. While Obama may not be leading this nation as an American president should, it does not mean he is inexperienced or weak. I believe him to be very skilled and usually knows precisely what he is doing. He does not do it as any other president would. He does it as a radical who knows what he wants, and does it. He is not concerned with governing this nation--only changing it the way he wants to see it be.

2) It is not possible to know what the implications are for what has happened, and it does not do a whole lot of good trying to analyze if it was good or not. The deal was made, and despite the difficulties going through Congress, what we need to be doing is focusing more on the results of it, how it plays out because we will certainly feel the repercussions later on, and how we will end up having to respond to it when we do.

The Importance of the First Lady

But I found Obama’s leaving the press conference and Clinton alone, as very strange. He had to leave it because he was keeping the “first lady waiting” for him. I am sorry, but since when does is president so beholden to the first lady when it comes to taking care of the country’s business, and when is it trumped by her desires? What was so important to have to excuse himself from this press conference?

It may have just been a very lame excuse because Obama was not crazy about being there, or feared having to answer any reporters questions. I grow tired of Obama always finding a way to avoid difficult situations by his having to do something. He has plenty of time for basketball, golf and vacations, but when he finally decides to work, he always has some other place to go much too conveniently at the stroke of anything that is controversial.

But ever since Michelle’s solitary trip to Spain without Barack--right over his own birthday--I wonder about how well their marriage is faring. I do not see the two of them together very often. Maybe she is quietly doing her own things in the background much like Obama’s czars are, but my sense about it is that their marriage is not going well.

I see Michelle being much more staunch in her views about what Obama should be doing to change this country, and my feeling is that the two of them have had some pretty heated arguments about it all.

Along with Michelle’s trip to Spain over his birthday, Obama was seen during that time without his wedding ring on. Then a while later, he speaks gloweringly of her in a speech, but she is not even there to hear it. To me, it seemed to be done more as a way of trying to get back on her good side. Now he supposedly gets elbowed accidentally during a basketball game. Does anyone know who did it? Not to my knowledge. When Vice President Cheney accidentally shot at fellow hunter Harry Whittington, the event was not covered up. But you would think anyone actually injuring the president of the United States is something that would be explained further.

Like the silence over Obama’s birth certificate, the fly-over of New York City, the mystery that surrounds Obama’s religion, and other things, this is yet another thing that seems to have something more behind it, and I cannot help but wonder if there was something more to Obama’s injury than we are told. I wonder if it did not happen as a result of another heated argument with Michelle. It is interesting to me that it happens just as Obama has to struggle to find out how best to take advantage of the lame duck session of Congress to help along his agenda.

A Growing Hatred

I have gotten where I just cannot stand this man anymore. He infuriates me every time I see him on TV. His condescending attitude towards Republicans and anger toward anyone who go against his point of view angers me each and every time. And maybe that anger is not so much against him as it is that he gets away with because when someone does go against him, they always end up backing down--all because he IS the president.

As I have said many times in the blog, this man--even though he is the president--is not one that acts like a president of America should, and to me is not deserving of the respect given him just because he is. This man has done far too much damage to this country. He lies, deceives, is coercive, and takes advantage of every single thing that he can to get his way. He does not defend this country as he should, but instead makes excuses for her and does not hold our values. He tries to gain favor with the people in his speeches, but he does not share his vision of what he has for America, and that leaves us trusting in him blindly. But all along this man has only shown that he cannot be trusted, and that makes me feel that I cannot say strongly enough how much of a danger I see this man as being.

What is sad is that he could have been such a good first black president. His election could have allowed for the election of other blacks to the office. Given the interest in people like Marco Rubio or Bobby Jindal, the damage may not be to any person of a different color, but I do believe voters will pay much more interest in the backgrounds of anyone looking to fill the office of the most important position in this country.

The 2010 Elections and Obama in 2012

In this last election, we have seen the Democrats win in very strategic contests: Harry Reid in Nevada, Barbara Boxer in California, Mario Cuomo in New York, and more recently Lisa Murkowski in Alaska. Not much has been said about these wins. They were accepted as normal wins because Democrats lost so severely in the 2010 elections. But these all had the appearance of important wins that Obama would have wanted, and would not sacrifice on.

To me, there HAD to be some falsifying of election results to give them their wins. In New York, it was the failure of early voting ballots getting to our military personnel overseas. New York would be important to Barack because it is the financial capital of the nation. Reid was important to the Senate, and won despite the wide-spread unemployment and mortgage problems in Nevada. There, it looked like the hotel industry put undo pressure on hotel workers to vote for Reid. In California, it was the huge brew-ha-ha over Meg Whitman’s maid. And in Alaska, it is quite surprising to me that a Republican rino could have won over conservative there in a write-in contest when Sarah Palin is so popular there. What I have not heard discussed in the media at all is the implications that win may have for Alaska.

We have a president who has shut down oil drilling in the Gulf in the middle of a very severe recession that puts yet even more Americans out of work and helps to increase the price of fuel and our dependence on foreign oil when we need to be relying our own resources more. Murkowski is important to Obama to help keep down drilling in Alaska because he does not want to see ANWR being opened to drilling.

This president is keeping America down intentionally. He continues to criticize Bush’s “failed policies”, while refusing to recognize the failures of his own. Getting the economy moving again is not that difficult a thing. Our situation is not as severe to fix as Obama makes it out to be. He only does so because he wants it that way.

Republicans cannot count on there being another landslide victory in 2012, especially in regards to removing Obama from office. After seeing the results of the above past elections, you can bet that to ensure a victory for himself, Obama will be doing everything he can to do so. It will most likely not be all that obvious. He will continue to manipulate the economy for his own purposes, and will be closely watching where it is he can best apply leverage that will assure him a win.

And he WILL ensure a win for himself. You can bet on it. The single most important election in 2012 will be that of Obama himself. We do not have the luxury of counting on fairness of election results. Corruption abounds in the Obama administration. We cannot rely on an election. We must try to get Obama, and all his czars, out of office before then if we are to preserve this republic. Two years is far too long to wait…

Let the Lame Duck Session Do Something Else!

As Han Solo had remarked in the first “Stars Wars” movie, “I got a bad feeling about this”--this being the vote in Congress concerning the adaption of the Debt Commission’s recommendations for reducing the debt.

It has the exact same feel to me as the first Tarp did before Obama took office. We have seen how the Obama administration operates. There was corruption in Washington before Obama took office, but Obama has made it ten times worse. And he has confirmed communists and socialists as czars quietly working to change just about every aspect of this country.

Obama got himself elected because of the first financial crisis, and we have seen what he has done to this country thus far, with health care, unemployment, our military, and, of course, his out-of-control spending.

Now we face another financial crisis with the debate over the expiration of the Bush tax cuts. Businesses and people have no idea how to plan for this next year because they have no idea what is going to happen to their taxes.

All of sudden now, we are being told by the very administration that so hap-hazardly put us in the dire condition we are in that Congress must now hurriedly make a decision on adopting the Debt Commission recommendations and if we do not, Wall St. as a whole might crash.

Where have we heard that sort of thing before? With Tarp 1, and Tarp 2. It was so urgent to fix those problems! So urgent, Barack Obama took off with Michelle Obama to Chicago for Valentine’s Day dinner date. Quite an urgent situation, wasn’t it?

The financial crisis, I mean.

Sorry. I am not falling for it a second time. Or is it a third, with health care? Or forth, with Cap and Trade?

We know Obama has slush funds set up. It is all for use in his great agenda to “radically transform the United States. What we do not know is how much money he really has tashed away.

Quite personally, I tend to believe he has a lot of stashed away. It was not spent. How could he possibly spend as much money as he did? What does he have to show for it? He doesn’t have anything to show for it.

Was it used on bail-outs? How do we know the banks that were in danger of falling really were? How do we know it was not all a story, and the money was just given to them to hold onto for awhile as Obama carried out his plans? After just a little bit, those companies were showing huge record profits. How could they, though, when everything else was in the tank?

None of it makes sense to me, really. And I tend to think the American people are being had again, just like the first crisis. It is not that we do not have problems. I just tend to feel Obama has made things much worse than they actually are. It is how he is getting so many things done. What we have to be cautious about, however, is that Obama will not be afraid to create a hazardous situation to get what he wants.

But we must realize two things:

1) that a certain amount of is just smoke and mirrors to make us believe we are in some great danger when it is not that bad, and

2) that we must execute some real wisdom in knowing that whatever dangers Obama presents to us may not be near as bad as the situation really is.

We have to stop playing along with his game; stop believing that things are the way he is painting them. He did that with the health care crisis, and now he is doing it with America. We have call this man’s bluff. If we do not, he will--most assuredly--bring down America so he can recreate it as he wants.

So, here is what I think needs to be done:

1) The START treaty with Russia may sound very good, and needed, but with America’s enemies all gathering around us--particularly Iran and North Korea--we need to keep our military and defenses strong. To ratify this treaty might sound like a good thing, but we must continue to carry a big stick if we are to keep our enemies in check. I am sorry, but I do not believe anything this man tells us, so if he is pushing this treaty, pushing it now during this lame duck session, and pushing it urgently as something that has to be done NOW, then it cannot be something that is really in America’s best interest. It will only weaken America further, because that is what this man has been all about.

2) We do not go along with the Debit Commission’s plans for taking care of the deficit. Obama is rushing us into something just as was done to us with Tarp. Obama knows that after the first of the year, he will have a Congress that will be much harder time getting away with things.

Obama could have avoided this crisis just by not spending as he himself has done. Now he is making his own spending the urgent reason for needing an solution to the problem he himself created, and was warned out many times by Republicans. Republicans have not been saying “no”. They have been saying “no more”.

He plays like we are just in a very difficult situation. But it is a situation that he himself has created. The economy is not something that is just “down”. It is being held down. It is not that difficult to get the economy going, if you do the right things, but he is not doing ANYTHING that he could to get the economy going, and Americans back to work. He has only done things to get yet even more people unemployed--like putting a moratorium on drilling in the Gulf, and laying off our top engineers from NASA because of the budget (which is yet still non-existent).

3) We must not react out of the fear of something happening. That is what Obama wants us to do. What we have to do is first find out what the real situation is, not what Obama says the situation is. We have to take the blinders off and see the situation clearly. Then we have to figure out a fix for it.

The lame duck Congress does not have the time to do that, so us leave it for the new-comers to do. We need to keep the Bush tax cuts, but if we must make a deal with Obama, we should agree to a two-year extension. Better if we can keep it, but in order for Congress to take the time to find out what has been going on, and work to change things, we should go ahead and pass the bill extending unemployment benefits in the meantime.

Let us start finding out what the real situation is by first getting an audit of the Federal Reserve to find out what all has been done with the money Obama has supposedly spent, find out where it all really went, see how much is recoverable, and let us got after with all due haste before they have a chance to cook the books, and examine the books thoroughly in case they already have. If there is nothing crooked in what they have been doing, there should be no reason for this being done, but it makes perfect sense for Congress to know what it is they are really dealing with before they work on finding the solution.

4) If Congress is to resolve our problems, they should devote all their time to working on those problems--NOT working on passing yet more legislation that Obama wants passed. As much as Obama likes to complain about Bush’s failed policies, Obama’s policies are not working any better, and have been far more detrimental to the American people.

5) We have heard the Democrats in Congress brazenly state that they are making up the rules as they go along. We have seen Obama files suits against our own states. Attorney General Eric Holder fails to uphold the laws of this land. Obama, Reid, and Pelosi have refused to listen to the wishes of the people. They have called our citizens Nazis, and put illegals in this country above them.

If we accept these behaviors from our own leaders, and do nothing to correct them, then we deserve whatever happens to us for our not doing so. It is time to call them into account for their words and actions. If Obama, Reid, and Pelosi insist their policies are right for our nation, they should submit themselves to thorough questioning from Congress and the media, not merely propagandize the American people into believing that they are.

6) As president, Obama may have the right to appoint czars to help him in his administration, but he has skillfully avoided scrutiny of his appointees by Congress. We know he has communists and socialists and others as czars that have absolutely no business in our system of government IF we care about preserving the system of government that we have, because these people will surely work to help destroy it. It is time for his czars to be called into account, as well.

7) Questions have been circling around Obama’s background since he took office. Is he an American citizen? Is he Muslim? Maybe we better get answers to these very critical questions, because Obama has not shown himself to truly stand for the American people as he should as an American president. He presents one image in his words. His policies and actions presents another. Prudence would say we should examine this president’s motives, not merely accept what he tells us, believe that he is being completely honest with us, and look beyond what he presents as just a pleasant demeanor.

8) Obama has criticized Republicans for not having a plan. So far, their plan has just been to get some power back to try to stop what Obama and the Democrats have been doing to this country. One of conservatives main goals is to get Obamacare repealed. But where do they go from there?

Obama may not like it, but part of their plan MUST BE to do some research to find out what exactly what this administration has really been doing. Then what they must do is set upon the task of developing solutions that will serve America as a whole.

This has to first entail restoring order in our government and getting it to function as it should--not out of control as it has been since Obama has taken office. Americans elected Obama because they believed he would do this. But Obama has only bought more anger and resentment about how our government works--not made things better.

9) Secondly, Congress needs to put a stop to these failed policies that are only weakening America, and get back to doing the things that had made America the greatest nation in the world. It means doing the right and good things we used to do--no the things Obama thinks we need to “change” to make it into something else.

10) Thirdly, we need to set upon the task of restoring the trust in America that other countries used to have for us. The world NEEDS to see America find success in our rebounding from the things that have beset us here. They need to see it so they will know that our system of government truly does work through its ability to come back intact when we have been tested as severely as we have.

With Obama, Americans have been given a taste of a person who prefers to rule, not govern. Obama, Reid, and Pelosi, along with the Democratic party, have exerted its will over that of the American people. The American people have stood up against them.

America is in a position to correct what has happened to her. We need new blood in government to correct the practices of those who have been in government much too long and engrained those practices into the system. We need to get back to the real basics, of honesty, honor, and morals, not merely preserving the appearance of these things.

11) It will not be enough, however, to merely pay attention to our own wounds. The world has been in a total state of upheaval, and we need to focus some of our attention in also helping other nations recover from their problems. To do this, America needs to reach out to other nations, to re-develop trust in us and foster a renewed sense of goodwill between nations.

We are a global community now, but that is not to say we are all one people. A one-world government is dangerous to us because it centralizes power. Decisions will be made at the top, and if we disagree with the decisions, the people will not be able to do anything about it. What has made America great is that power in government was balanced and spread out.

People have different beliefs, and different values. Our different cultures bring variety and color that we need. Living free does not mean individuals simply doing whatever one wants. Living free has to entail living in harmony with each other fostering those good things that are beneficial both to the individual, and to our world as a whole, as well.

If we allow a few to have the power, they will lord their power over us, and the outcomes are more likely to lead to more strife and hardship for the rest of us. Our challenges are great, but it is my belief that the will of good men and women joined in a single effort can produce better results.

The world is in a crucial place. We need individual freedom and ingenuity to be preserved to allow for the testing of ideas that can really contribute to the discovery of the solutions the world is needing so desperately right now. What we need is for people to be focused on the good of the whole, yet recognizing the value of our different cultures, and centered on the promise of the individual. America can lead in this effort, if we do the right things that are needed--right now.
